Personal Finances is a great freeware program for tracking your current and future finances. It allows you to manage up to five separate checking accounts and five savings accounts. Adding deposit and withdrawal entries is very easy, and you can establish payees and sources of income. The main account component works much like a spreadsheet program. You can add, modify and remove entries by moving your mouse to a desired column. ````To ensure accuracy, you can reconcile the program's financial data with your bank statement. Personal Finances will point out only outstanding items and display a situation report indicating the difference. By configuring the program to remember reoccurring events, such as monthly rent or utility bills, it will remind you when payments are due.
