A small password screen pops up in the upper left hand corner of the desktop prompting you for a password. At this time your mouse becomes restricted to the password screen, and the ctrl alt del keys are disabled. If you dont know your password, you will have to manually shut your computer down. Once your computer is rebooted the F8 (safe mode) key is also disabled and you are once again faced with typing in the correct password.````After the correct password is typed in, you will have access to the deskpass screen. The deskpass screen gives you the opportunity to install the password program, uninstall the password, install the Administrative Restrictions, uninstall the Administrative Restrictions, Change your password and run the password program without installing.
