Enterprise Monitor is a Web-based network monitoring, notification and recovery tool for Internet and Intranet networks. It operates as an NT Service, and boasts centralized management through a Web based interface. Enterprise Monitor ensures that sites are available and responsive at all times by regularly monitoring the state of configured resources, without the use of agents. When failures occur, Enterprise Monitor will notify administrators in any combination of pagers, beepers, digital phones, e-mail, and network broadcasts. Enterprise Monitor can also attempt to correct failures when they occur. Enterprise Monitor can restore the failing resource by restarting the appropriate NT service, reboot the appropriate server or initiate a third party application.
