Windows app which automatically prepares Macintosh filenames for Windows removing illegal characters and adding extensions.
Stored on Mac volumes of NT/2000 servers, files will be renamed via a custom conversion table;
Also used as a Windows service it regularly scans and replaces characters allowed by Macintosh but forbidden in windows file
names.
MacNames is probably the only Windows NT software dedicated to rename Macintosh files stored on an NT Server.
