Direct Folders is a program that placed little icon button on the right side of the title bar in the standard Windows File Open and File Save dialog boxes. It also have ability to display this button on the caption bar of Windows Explorer and Browse For Folder dialog boxes. Microsoft Office 98/2000 supported as well. This button displays a list of commonly accessed folders, that can be also organized in the sub-menus. Clicking on any name in this list will make dialog box immediately displays the directory you want to be in. As alternative you can use Ctrl+G hotkey. It saves plenty of your time and mouse click when accessing most used folders. Direct Folders lets you add your favorite folders in this list on the fly. For example, to quickly add folder My Documents, you should browse to this folder and select Add My Documents from the popup menu. If you no longer need this folder, just browse to this folder and select Remove My Documents. All items and its order in the list can be edited via Configuration Panel. Another ability of the program is a filters. In some cases you may need to display all the files in current folder or files with other extension than dialog box let you see. Sub-menu Filters consists of few predefined filters such as Text Documents (*.txt;*.doc;*.rtf), Images (*.jpg;*.gif;*.bmp) and so on.
